NOW it's Christmastime!

So after weeks of boycotting and preaching to my friends about how I refuse to get into the Christmas Spirit until after Thanksgiving...it's finally time! Andy lugged the Christmas tree out of the attic yesterday, and I trimmed the tree with silver and gold ornaments. I really do live for this time of year. The smells, the music, the decorations...I. LOVE. IT. I'm also really looking forward to taking pictures of my neighbor's cute little niece, Abby. Look for pictures!

Today is Thanksgiving, and I had another opportunity to try out my new camera. My cousins are extremely photogenic, complete with Catie Beth's 'princess pose'.

New Camera

My birthday was last week, and it was incredible. My husband, who has become quite the craftsman, made me a computer/drafting table for our upstairs loft (pictures to come soon). I am so proud of him, and fully expect to see more and more pieces he does :)

My birthday got extended last night when I received my camera. A Canon Rebel EOS xsi. I'm in love. I got to try it out last night at my Mamaw and Papaw's Thanksgiving.
